Management Team ProfilesDr Eddie Doyle : Head of Preclinical Development Eddie has over 30 years experience of drug development. Before joining CXR he was Assistant Director of Drug Analysis, GlaxoSmithKline, managing a group representing multiple areas of scientific expertise. These covered toxicology, biotransformation and pharmacokinetics in support of Discovery, Pre-Clinical and Clinical drug development. Dr Karen Jervis : Director of Business Development Karen has over a decade of experience in the life science industry. Prior to joining CXR she held the position of Managing Director and Head of Business Development at Viragen (Scotland) Ltd. Karen has considerable experience in commercialization of early stage technology and intellectual property strategy and management and holds several advisory and consulting positions in this area: she is a member of the Scottish Science Advisory Committee and a consultant to the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, as well as being a visiting lecturer in biotechnology at the University of Nottingham. Dr Jervis holds a PhD in Protein Biochemistry from the University of Glasgow and an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from the University of Edinburgh.
Mr Gavin Hands : Financial Controller Gavin has over 20 years experience in the financial management of small companies encompassing a wide variety of different sectors and is a fellow of the ACCA and a member of the ICAEW.
