Molecular Biology

CXR Biosciences has made significant investment in all the latest technologies for molecular biology.  State of the art cloning technologies ensure speed and efficiency which combined with a broad knowledge and skill base facilitate the rapid translation of innovative ideas into validated models

Transcription Profiling

CXR has invested in an Agilent gene array system for transcriptional profiling and hold 'Certified Agilent Service Provider' accreditation from Agilent.  Experienced staff can provide a full service from the design of profiling experiments through to the data analysis and expert interpretation.

Transgenics

Accessing the most up to date methods for generating transgenic mice, CXR Biosciences can rapidly generate in vivo models for ADME and toxicity screening.  These models are designed to be more rapid, more informative, and more relevant to man than existing approaches, and can be combined with pharmacological models to further improve screening of compounds.

Mass Spectroscopy

State of the art LC/MS/MS systems are used at CXR Biosciences which provides high selectivity, speed, and precision.  Novel LC/MS/MS methods have been developed to analyse a wide range of compounds, and have been intensively used to support and accelerate analysis of samples from in vitro and in vivo screens. LCT time of flight accurate mass spectrometer coupled with Metabolynx analytical software enables the simultaneous determination of drug candidate mixtures and identification of metabolites.
