HistoryCXR Biosciences was established in December 2001 by Prof Roland Wolf and Dr Cliff Elcombe as a spin-out from Dundee University, Scotland and has now grown into an established profitable business. CXR has had two rounds of private investment and now employs over 36 staff recruited from both industrial and academic backgrounds, over 50% of whom have PhD's. In addition to developing innovative technologies to improve drug discovery & development, CXR's innovative approach has also been successfully applied to assist companies with ADMET characterisation, lead compound selection, investigative toxicology, product rescue, and product advocacy.
