Pathway Analysis

In a collaboration with Ingenuity Systems, CXR Biosciences is validating and advising on their new pathways analysis,  IPA-Tox™, software. IPA-Tox™ is a capability within Ingenuity's IPA 5.0 that delivers a focused toxicity and safety assessment of candidate compounds. This has been used in conjunction with targeted LCM for high resolution mechanistic hypothesis generation to determine human hazard assessment from results in test species.

Overlaying results from IPA with statistical clustering of microarray data provides new insights into the mechanisms of toxicological responses such as oxidative stress response, interactions of drugs with individual enzymes such as P450s, and xenobiotic metabolism. This is extremely useful for discovering biomarkers, determining toxicity in humans, and evaluating the utility of new toxicological models for risk assessment.
